What most people don’t realize, however, are the many benefits associated with therapeutic bath salts and the many advantages there are to using them. The essential oils in bath salts create a sense of calm and relaxation which can greatly aid in your ability to get a good night’s sleep and to approach the day with more energy and enthusiasm. EROSSS Bath salts create a silky, smooth feeling in the water. Our bath salts also give EROSSS soaps more lather, allowing you to feel fully clean at the end of the bath.
In addition to the enjoyment from bath salts, EROSSS bath salts also have benefits for your body. For centuries, people have traveled long distances to enjoy the benefits that mineral-rich seas and hot springs can provide. EROSSS baths allow your body to rid itself of toxins by opening your pores and assisting your skin in getting rid of waste and byproducts. Health experts believe that the warm, soothing water of such natural springs can be beneficial for our bodies.

The next time you walk down the soap aisle at your favorite store enjoying the fresh, clean scents and the bright colorful packaging, pay attention. Look at the labels. The vast majority of the products on the shelf don't say 'soap' on their labels. They might be called beauty bars, moisturizing bars, or body bars, but not soap. That's because these bars aren't actually soap and can't legally claim to be; they're detergents.
Goat milk soap has a special ingredient called capric-capryllic triglyceride. This oil helps moisturize the skin and is considered one of the best at doing so. Infused with Chaga and other essential oils and moisturizers, our signature blends of soaps contains the perfect amount of glycerin that remains in the soap. Commercial soaps contain many chemicals that can keep your skin from looking and feeling its best. These chemicals can cause problems such as dry skin, which leads to a host of other bacterial problems. EROSSS goat milk soap uses natural products that have positive aspects for your skin, creating overall healthier skin.Goat milk soap, typically made by hand, is a natural soap rich in nutrients. A major difference between the handmade soap and commercial soap is the absence of harsh chemicals found in other soaps. Goat milk soap is very beneficial to the skin and is especially helpful for those with dry skin.

Finally, therapeutic bath salts are a great way to rejuvenate and care for your skin. Bath salts with glycerin provide moisturizing benefits. After your bath, your skin will be softer and more supple, thereby minimizing the need for additional skin creams and lotions. In addition, these salts help to exfoliate. Rub a hand full over your feet, knees and elbows with a damp washcloth before entering the bath. Rinse these areas and then take your bath. Your skin will feel smoother and softer and will benefit more from soaking after it has been uncovered and exfoliated.
Therapeutic bath salts are one of the best kept secrets in the beauty world. They benefit your body, your mind and your emotions in a myriad of ways. With EROSSS bath salts, your skin will feel smoother, your mind will be relaxed and your body refreshed

In 2004, Korean researchers reported that human cells pretreated with a hot water extract of wild Chaga conk showed more than 40 percent reduction in DNA fragmentation compared with the positive control (Park et al., 2004). In 2007, medical scientists at the University of Bradford, U.K., studied the anti-oxidative effects of a commercially available room temperature water-ethanol extract of cultured Chaga mycelium on the DNA of 20 healthy vs. 20 irritable bowel disease (IBD) patients, and concluded: Chaga supplementation in cream and bath salts resulted in a 54.9 percent (p < 0.001) reduction of H2O2 induced DNA damage within the patient group and 34.9 percent (p < 0.001) within the control group ... Conclusively, Chaga extract reduces oxidative stress in lymphocytes from IBD patients and also healthy individuals when challenged in vitro (Najafzadeh et al., 2007).
The Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is claimed to have beneficial properties for human health, such as anti-bacterial, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. The antioxidant effects of the mushroom may be partly explained by protection of cell components against free radicals. We evaluated the effect of aqueous Chaga mushroom extracts for their potential for protecting against oxidative damage to DNA in human lymphocytes.
Cells were pretreated with various concentrations (10, 50, 100 and 500 microg/mL) of the extract for 1 h at 37 degrees C. Cells were then treated with 100 microM of H2O2 for 5 min as an oxidative stress. Evaluation of oxidative damage was performed using single-cell gel electrophoresis for DNA fragmentation (Comet assay). Using image analysis, the degree of DNA damage was evaluated as the DNA tail moment. Cells pretreated with Chaga extract showed over 40% reduction in DNA fragmentation compared with the positive control (100 micromol H2O2 treatment). Thus, Chaga mushroom treatment affords cellular protection against endogenous DNA damage produced by H2O2.
Psoriasis Self-Care Tip : Bathe, but Beware
Bathing can be another important part of psoriasis self-care, yet frequent bathing can also dry skin out, causing problems. A few tips for bathing with psoriasis:
* Avoid hot water, which can irritate skin. Use lukewarm water instead.
* Don’t towel off -- pat yourself dry, then apply moisturizer.
* Pure water dries skin. Add bathing salts, oil, or oilated oatmeal to bathwater to make it more
skin-friendly.
